Birleşim Engineering is a company with 20 years of experience in technical contracting requiring high standards of engineering, that is, coordinating the living parts of the projects. Mesut Altan
Mesut Altan graduated from Yıldız Technical University Mechanical Engineering in 1995. Between 1995 and 2002 of his career, he worked as Project Coordinator at Cantes Klima. In 2002, he resigned from this company and founded Birleşim Mühendislik A.Ş., which provides mechanical system solutions. In accordance with the goal of establishing Birleşim Group companies, he added Birleşim İnşaat A.Ş. and Birleşim Makina A.Ş. to group companies in 2006 and 2011, respectively. In 2014, Mr. Altan signed a strategic partnership agreement to purchase 100% of Erde Mühendislik, which is one of the pioneer companies in electrical contracting industry and founded an engineering firm that creates electromechanical contracting solutions to be one of the first in its industry with Birleşim Mühendislik. He made investments in hospitality industry by opening Ataşehir Park-Inn by Radisson Hotel in 2016 and in heavy machinery industry by incorporating Toro Makina A.Ş. to its group companies in 2018. As of 2020, Birleşim Yeşil Enerji A.Ş. - BYE, which started to serve in the field of renewable energy, has included Edikli SPP, Uluder SPP and Gülbahar SPP plants, all of which are licensed, respectively, under its roof. While realizing the Menekşe WPP investment in the field of wind energy, ZEN Energy was added to the energy group in 2023. With Zen Energy, solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 48 MWp were commissioned in Burdur, Eskişehir, Kırıkkale, Kütahya, Isparta and Uşak.
Solar Santral Enerji A.Ş., a company that has been active in all aspects of solar power plant Project development, installation, and financing since 2020, became a Birleşim Group subsidiary at the end of 2022 after a 70% stake was acquired in the company.

İdris Çakır

Sinan Şahin
Sinan Şahin graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2003. Between 2003-2018, he worked at Tokar Yapı ve Endüstri, Tesa Tesisat, Alle Yapı, Birleşim Mühendislik, Rönesans Teknik A.Ş, REC International companies respectively. In these companies, he worked as Field Engineering, Site Supervisor, Mechanical Group Supervisor and finally Mechanical Works Coordinator. Since 2018, he has been the Coordinator of Birleşim Engineering, and as of June 2021, he has been the General Manager of Birleşim Mühendislik AŞ and Erde Mühendislik AŞ. As of 2024, Sinan Şahin has been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors as well as the General Manager.
Alev Dumanlı
Alev Dumanlı graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics in 1987. Alev Dumanlı worked as an independent auditor at KPMG and Deloitte between 1988 and 1992, and served as the Responsible Manager at Borsa Istanbul Listing Department between 1992 and 2017. In the Listing Department, she was responsible for evaluating the applications of companies to be traded on Borsa Istanbul after their public offering, evaluating the status of listed companies against Borsa Istanbul's listing legislation, re-drafting the listing legislation in accordance with the Capital Markets Law and CMB regulations, and working on public disclosure and corporate governance practices.
He currently serves as an Independent Board Member at Birleşim Mühendislik Isıtma Soğutma Havalandırma Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Çuhadaroğlu Metal Sanayi ve Pazarlama A.Ş., Sanifoam Endüstri ve Tüketin Ürünleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Lider Faktoring A.Ş. and Koleksiyon Mobilya Sanayi A.Ş.

Gültekin Portioğlu
Gültekin Portioğlu graduated from Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Maritime Studies Department of Mechanical Engineering. He started his career at Ereğli Demir Çelik Fabrikaları A.Ş. as Assistant General Foreman between 1969 and 1970. Between 1970 and 1991, he acted as Maintenance Manager, Project and Control Manager, Director of Project Investments and Supply Department, respectively at İpraş (Istanbul Oil Refinery) and Tüpraş (Turkey Oil Refinery). He moved into project management side by working as a Project Manager at petrochemistry and refinery projects of Tokar A.Ş. between 1991 and 1997. He conducted the management of various large scaled projects between 1997 and 2006 such as treatment facilities, natural gas plants, thermal power plants. He was appointed as Planning Coordination Manager at Birleşim Mühendislik A.Ş. in 2006 and retired in 2014. He then started working as Independent Board Member at the same company in 2021.

Our Leed Gold Certified Central Building
Birleşim Grup head office is a green building with the status of the first Leed Gold Certificate in Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone.
The central building, which has a usage area of approximately 11,000 m2 on an 8.5 decare land, consists of two separate buildings, administrative offices and a warehouse facility.
The warehouse part consists of a 6000 m2 storage and shipping area, the central building consists of 5 meeting rooms, a training and seminar hall for 100 people, a cafeteria for 100 people and offices.
In our office, which has the status of a Green Building, rainwater collection and treatment system, gray water system, solar energy system, energy automation system according to daylight have been installed.
All selected and used materials are products that comply with the Leed Gold Certificate.
