BİRLEŞİM MÜHENDİSLİK 2022 ANNUAL REPORT 33 · Electromechanical installation works for the Acarlar Group’s latest project AcarVerde, which takes its name “Verde” from the Italian word for “green,” commenced on 15 June 2022 under a contract with Dost İnşaat Taahhüt Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. AcarVerde, a mixed-use residential project consisting of three towers with 739 living units, is being constructed in Beykoz, İstanbul’s greenest and most oxygen-rich township. The project features a 10,000 m² landscaped “Verde Square” and a 7,000 m 2 commercial area with 23 independent units. · Electromechanical installation works for the Gaziantep municipal commenced under a contract signed on 26 September 2022 with REC Uluslararası İnşaat Yatırım Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. The hospital has 1,875 beds and can serve up to 18,000 people a day. With a total of 638,089 m 2 of usable space, this hospital will be Turkey’s fourth biggest healthcare facility when it goes into operation. · The Kalyon photovoltaic solar technologies factory, the first and only factory in Turkey to combine all stages of solar panel production under one roof, including R&D, and the first investment of Kalyon Holding in the field of solar energy, began its Phase 3 mechanical installation works under a contract signed on 9 November 2022. · Mechanical installation works for Aydınlı İnşaat Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.’s Aydınlı Selimpaşa garment factory project in Silivri and warehouse project in Hadımköy were successfully completed and have been provisionally accepted. · Electromechanical installation works for the Acıbadem Ataşehir hospital and office tower project, whose employer, Acıbadem Sağlık Hizmetleri, is one of Turkey’s biggest healthcare providers, were successfully completed and have been provisionally accepted. · Electromechanical installation works under a contract with Kuzu Toplu Konut İnşaat A.Ş. were successfully completed and have been provisionally accepted. This is a 300-bed hospital in İstanbul’s Ataköy district that will be operated by the Medicana Health Group. · The mechanical installation works for the İstanbul International Financial Center’s Borsa İstanbul services building were successfully completed under a contract with Cevahir Yapı Sanayii Turizm Ticaret A.Ş. and have been provisionally accepted. · Mechanical installation works for the Ankara Erman Ilıcak Science Lycee were successfully completed and have been provisionally accepted. The school was built by Rönesans Education Foundation, a charity founded in 2009 to support the education and personal development of young people and children.
