BİRLEŞİM MÜHENDİSLİK 2023 ANNUAL REPORT 6 INTRODUCTION MILESTONES 2002 2003 2006-2007 2010 2011 2012 2007 Birleşim Mühendislik is founded in İstanbul on 13 June 2002 as a limited company specializing in heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation system contracting. The company begins working with the Dünyagöz Hospitals Group on a project in İstanbul- Ataköy, and subsequently collaborates with the same group on another eight projects. Beylikdüzü Medicana and Bakırköy Medical Park hospital mechanical installation works are completed. İstanbul Astoria Shopping Mall & Living Center project mechanical installation works are completed. The company successfully completes the mechanical works of The Green Park Convention Center, Turkey’s biggest convention center at the time of its completion. Birleşim Mühendislik is awarded a 2010 bronze plaque by the İstanbul Chamber of Commerce. Birleşim Mühendislik is awarded a 2011 bronze plaque by the İstanbul Chamber of Commerce. The company’s headquarters operations are relocated to a LEED Gold-certified building in the İstanbul Dudullu organized industrial zone.
