BİRLEŞİM MÜHENDİSLİK 2023 ANNUAL REPORT 17 Testing, Adjusting & Balancing Procedures In the conduct of its mechanical contracting operations, Birleşim Mühendislik generally adheres to “testing, adjusting & balancing” (TAB) procedures. These are quality- focused procedures that improve project delivery by confirming and documenting that all of the project’s mechanical systems and applications are planned, designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained so as to fully satisfy the specifications of the project owner. Once a project has been commissioned, the procedures also confirm and document that it has been adjusted and stabilized and that is using making the most economical use of energy. Experience shows that adherence to TAB procedures in works before they are commissioned significantly reduces the number of contractor callbacks to correct defects and errors during the post- commissioning warranty period. TAB procedures are performed by qualified and duly-certified personnel using properly calibrated and certified equipment. Unlike most electromechanical contractors in Turkey, Birleşim Mühendislik employs a team of its own in the conduct of its TAB operations. This ensures the proper and effective end-to-end management and documentation of all necessary project-quality processes.
