BİRLEŞİM MÜHENDİSLİK 2023 ANNUAL REPORT 11 BIGGEST OPHTHALMIC HOSPITAL In 2008 we undertook and successfully completed the mechanical works of the Etiler Dünyagöz Hospital, Turkey’s biggest ophthalmic hospital. EUROPE’S AND TURKEY’S FIRST TRUMP TOWERS PROJECT As Birleşim Mühendislik and Erde Mühendislik we successfully completed the electromechanical works of Europe’s first Trump Towers project in 2011. TURKEY’S FIRST FAIRMONT HOTEL In 2015 we successfully undertook and completed the mechanical works of the Fairmont Quasar Istanbul project, Turkey’s first hotel in the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts global chain of 5-star luxury accommodation facilities. FASTEST-COMPLETED HOSPITAL Contributing to Turkey’s efforts to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, as Birleşim Mühendislik and Erde Mühendislik we successfully completed the electromechanical works of the Professor Feriha Öz Emergency Hospital in just 45 days. WORLD’S BIGGEST BASE-ISOLATED HOSPITAL As Birleşim Mühendislik and Erde Mühendislik we successfully completed the electromechanical works of the Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital in 2020. BİRLEŞİM ENGINEERING’S FIRST PROJECT IN EUROPE Following the opening of a branch office in Hungary, building mechanical installation works were undertaken as part of Doğuş İnşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş.’s project to build a Şişecam glass container factory in Kaposvar in Hungary. This is Birleşim Mühendislik’s first project in Europe.
