BASIS OF PRESENTATION OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS (Continued) (d) Approval of Consolidated Financial Statements: The Group’s consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with TFRS were approved by the Board of Directors on April 29, 2024. The General Assembly and some regulatory bodies have the authority to change the consolidated financial statements after they are published. (e) Reporting and Functional Currency The functional and reporting currency of the Group is Turkish Lira (“TL”). The Group has determined TL as the currency for the presentation of consolidated financial statements and footnotes. All currencies, except the currency selected for the measurement of items in the consolidated financial statements, are treated as foreign currencies. (f) Continuity of Business The Group has prepared its consolidated financial statements in accordance with the going concern principle. (g) Comparative Information and Adjustment of Prior Period Consolidated Financial Statements The Group’s consolidated financial statements are prepared comparatively with the previous period in order to enable the determination of financial situation and performance trends. When deemed necessary, comparative information is reclassified and significant differences are disclosed in order to ensure compliance with the presentation of the current period consolidated financial statements. (h) Principles Regarding Consolidation Financial and operating policies where the Parent Company directly or indirectly owns 100% or more of the shares or has more than 100% of the voting rights or does not have the authority to exercise more than 100% of the voting rights but has actual dominance over the financial and operating policies. The businesses over which it has control rights have been subject to full consolidation. The subsidiary is included in the accompanying consolidated financial statements by full consolidation method.
